A twin-engine Bell 222UT on fixed skids, finished in gloss black and silver with an executive cabin in diamond-quilted black leather. Cargo hook, 7,049 hrs total time, and about to come out of maintenance with fresh inspections, including the main rotor hub 2,500-hr inspection. Sold as a package with a spare engine and two additional airframes.
The 222UT is the utility-twin version of Bell's 222, introduced in 1983. Swapping the retractable wheels for fixed skids freed space for larger auxiliary fuel tanks, giving it noticeably longer legs than the wheeled 222B while keeping the same pair of Lycoming LTS101 turboshafts.
With a single-engine-capable twin powerplant, a roomy cabin and a cruise speed near 140 knots, it remains a popular choice for corporate transport and VIP charter, while the cargo hook adds utility and external-load capability.
1983 Bell 222UT, 7,049 hrs total time. Released from maintenance with fresh inspections, including the main rotor hub 2,500-hr inspection. Cargo hook.
An additional LTS101 turboshaft comes with the package, ready to cover the power turbine wheel coming due on one installed engine.
Two further Bell 222 airframes are included, giving a buyer a deep pool of spares support for the type.
